John Roland Marino

 

John Roland Marino,  47, lifelong resident of Malden, died Sunday, April 13, 2003 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, Massachusetts.  John was born and raised in Malden.  He attended the Cotting School for the Handicapped and graduated from high school there.   After high school, he ended up taking employment with Comco Plastics in Saugus, and worked in the Shipping and Receiving department.   He worked there until the plant closed this past year.  John was also a dedicated lifelong member of the Irish American, as well as being recognized as a past Member of the Year. 

He is survived by his mother Ruth E. (Brennan)  Marino, his sister Ruth Ellen Marino, his brother Michael J. Marino, his sister Margaret L. Choiniere, his brother Daniel J. Marino, his sister Terri A. Marino, and his niece Marsha A. Pitteroff.

He was preceded in death by his father, A. Joseph Marino, and his sister Karen J. Marino.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home. Father John Leonard, formerly of Sacred Hearts Church, Malden, and currently the Pastor of St. Ann's of W. Newbury  will be officiating.
