Patricia Agnes McCallion
Patricia A. McCallion, 77, died Monday, April 25, 2005 at Sancta Maria Nursing Facility in Cambridge, MA. Pat was born in Boston and educated in the Newton schools and Sacred Hearts Catholic School. After high school Pat was employed as a sales clerk at Sears, Roebucks & Co. and Woolworth Department store in Boston. She later took employment with the Raytheon Corporation of Quincy as an electronics worker and worked for forty-two years until her retirement in 1993. She was a long time communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Malden and was a member of the twenty-five year club of Raytheon. Miss McCallion had lived in Malden for over sixty years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father John J. McCallion, her mother, Agnes T. Lafferty, her brothers Neil and John McCallion. At the request of the family visitation has been omitted. Contributions in Pat’s memory may be made to the charity of ones choice, Funeral will be held from the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Thursday, April 28th. at 12 noon followed by a Mass of Christian burial in the Immaculate Conception Church , 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 1PM. Fr. George C. Hines of Immaculate Conception Church will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Needham.
