McLellan

Joyce A. (Gaquin) McLellan, died suddenly, Thursday evening,
February 14, 2008 at her home in Malden, she was 71. Joyce was
born in Haverhill, on July 27, 1936 the daughter of the late
Earl & Rose (Latoile) Gaquin. She later moved to Everett with
her family at an early age. After she completed her education,
she later married her sweetheart, Clarence W. McLellan Jr. in
August of 1952. The couple settled in Everett, raised their
family and shared over fifty years together until Clarence's
passing in March of 2006. Joyce and Clarence enjoyed many
winters in the Lehigh Acres of Ft. Myers, FL.
Over the years, she and her husband enjoyed traveling to
different flea markets and auctions looking for the perfect
bargain. The couple even operated an antique shop in Lynn,
called the Depot Trading Post, selling antiques, collectables
and hobby equipment. Joyce's true passion was her children,
grandchildren and great-grandchildren they were truly her life.
Mrs. McLellan was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Malden
and was a former member of St. Theresa's in Everett. Joyce had
lived in Malden, for over twenty years.
She is survived by her children, Veronica A. McMahon of Malden,
Joyce A. Igo and her husband Steven of New Hampshire, William C.
McLellan of Georgia, Patricia M. Fothergill and her husband
Robert of Everett, Rosemarie B. Pisco and her husband Anthony of
Ohio, her brother Earl J. Gaquin of Everett and her devoted
brother in-law Skip McLellan of Florida. Joyce was the cherished
grandmother of Regina, Tommy, Joey, Krystal, Eric, Julie, Ryan,
Erin, Steven, Anthony, Samantha and the great-grandmother of TJ, Joseph, Gianna, Dillon, Sheylynn, Kailey, Analyse, and
Paris.

Visiting hours
will be held in the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home on
Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9.
Funeral from the Weir~Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144
Salem St., Malden, on Wednesday, February 20th. at
8 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s
Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 9 AM. Interment to follow in
Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
