Paul Redmond Miller
Paul Redmond Miller, 59, a lifelong resident of Malden, died
suddenly on Sunday, March 06, at his home. Paul was born and
raised in Malden, graduating from Malden High School with the
class of 1965. Soon after high school, he took employment with
Boston Edison, now N. Star Electric, as a lineman. Paul worked
with the company for 34 years and had become and Overhead
Inspector for the power supply company. For many years, Paul was
a coach for the Malden Pop Warner Football league in Malden. He
also was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Malden. His
favorite pastime though, was spending time with his two
grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Joan M. (Mirley) Miller of Malden, his sons,
Paul M. and wife Kari L. Miller of Everett, and Shaun Miller and fiancé Lindsay Gagne
of W. Roxbury, his sister, Carol West of Nashua, NH, and his
grandchildren, Christopher & Michael. Paul is also
survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Eva J.
(Redmond) Miller.
Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem
Street, Malden, on Friday, March 11th, from 4-8 PM.
Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Saturday,
March 12th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Josephs
Church at 10AM. Rev. Richard T. Bakker of St. Joseph's Church
will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Forest Dale
Cemetery, Malden.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory may be made to the
charity of ones choice.
