Barbara Marion Moulton
Barbara M. Moulton, 79, of Malden, formerly of Chelsea, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA. Barbara was born and raised in Portland, ME. In November of 1960, she married her sweetheart Roy Moulton in the Mt. Bellingham Church in Chelsea. The two settled in Chelsea to raise their family. Around 1992 they moved to Malden. Barbara had worked for many years at Bradlees, and retired in 1993 after 19 years as a customer service rep. For Barbara, raising her family has always kept her busy, and her husband Roy was her world, but she also enjoyed going to the ocean and watching the waves crash upon the shoreline. In addition to this, she was an avid reader. Through her life, Barbara had a strong faith in God and always believed He was there to answer her prayers. She is survived by her husband Roy E. Moulton, of Malden, her children, Dorothy Leo of Everett, David Leo of NH, Catherine Hickey and husband Mathew of NH, Barbara Jo Moulton of Malden, and Roy R. Moulton and wife Cindy of Lynn. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mary Ann (Feely) Greene, her son Albert Leo, her daughter Mary Ann Foley, her brother Walter Greene, and her sister Dorothy Greene. Visitation will be held at the Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Friday, Oct 24th, 2008, from 4 – 8 PM Contributions in Barbara’s memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham MA 01701-9376 Funeral will be held for the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden, on Saturday, October 24, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden. Father William J. Minigan, pastor of the Church, will be the celebrant. Interment will be private.
