Nanci Lizbeth Tilden-Murphy Nanci Lizbeth Tilden-Murphy, 49, a lifelong resident of Malden, died Monday, May 31, 2004
at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, Massachusetts. Nanci was born and raised in Malden, graduating from Malden
High School with the Class of 1973.
Nanci worked for over 15 years as a taxi driver for the
Malden Taxi Company. In
1985, she married her sweetheart, Paul Murphy, and the two would
share nearly 20 years together until his recent passing.
Nanci loved the beach and enjoyed spending time at the
ocean in Ogunquit,
Maine. She is survived by her sister, Debra L. Tilden of
Atlanta, GA, her
aunts, Shirley
Constantine of Malden, Eleanor Repucci of Danvers, her uncle,
Joseph Constantine of Melrose, and her nephew Michael J. Tringali
of Malden. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Murphy, her
parents, Norman and Phyllis (Constantine) Tilden, and her sister Norma Tringali. Contributions in Nanci's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham MA 01701- 9376 Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at 3:30 P.M. at Weir -MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden. Rev. James Cox of Centre United Methodist Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held immediately following the service from 4 - 8 PM . |
