William Francis O'Connor William Francis O'Connor, 69, a retired employee of the Highway Dept. for City of Malden, died Friday, May 24, in Boston. Bill was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. Upon completing his education, he came to the US to enlist in the service to help fight in the Korean Conflict. After serving his enlistment in the Army, he returned and settled in the Malden Area. He went to work for the Malden Highway Department, and
worked for the City of over 40 years.
He was a member of the Malden VFW Post 603, and also a member of Club 24,
in Malden. He is survived
by his daughter Geraldine O'Connor of
Marshfield, his brother Phillip of
Malden, and sisters Maureen of FL, and Breda & Annie
of Ireland. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia (O'Neil)
formerly of Malden. Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home on Saturday from 10-12 Funeral services will be held graveside at noon, in the Forest Dale Cemetery, 150 Forest Street, Malden.
