Natalie Lee O'Hearn
Natalie Lee O'Hearn, 81,
of Malden, died Friday, April 18, 2003 at Lawrence
Memorial Hospital in Medford. Natalie
was born in Providence RI in 1922, the daughter of Charles and Jessie (Mac Innis)
Martin. She moved to Malden at an
early age, and was raised there, attending the Malden school system and
graduating from Malden High School with the class of 1940.
Over
the next few years, she had worked as a secretary and a bookkeeper.
During that time she was also active with the USO.
In 1950, she married her husband, Edward J. O'Hearn, and the two shared
the next 30 years together until his passing in 1980.
Together they moved to Somerville, and lived there for many years. Natalie was a voracious book reader, and also enjoyed
traveling. Mrs. O'Hearn lived in
Malden, Massachusetts for the past 15 years.
She is survived by her
daughter Nancy O'Hearn of Malden,
her son Brian O'Hearn and her
sister, Estelle Hebb of Malden.
She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, her father
Charles Martin, and her mother Jessie Mac Innis.
A time of gathering for family and friends
will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on
Tuesday from 2-4 PM
