Ida May Palmer
Ida May Palmer, 87, died Friday, January 25, 2002 at the
Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA. Ida
was born and educated in Malden and after completing school married and raised
her children in Malden. She was married to her husband, George , for sixty four
years and a life long resident of Malden. She was a member of St. Paul's
Episcopal Church of Malden and the Ladies Guild of St. Paul's Church.
Mrs. Palmer had also been employed at Transitron of Melrose as a
assembler for a number of years.
She is survived by her husband George S. Palmer of Malden,
her daughters, Ruth A. Maloof of Concord and Sandra M. Daum of NY, her, brother,
Carl E. Benson of Malden,
her sister, Evelyn Smith of Malden, her brother William Benson
of Malden five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. .
She was preceded in death by her father Carl Benson, her
mother Ida (Prescott)Benson and her sister Helen Davidson.
She was born July 17, 1914 in Malden, Massachusetts the
daughter of the late Carl and Ida (Prescott) Benson.

Visitation will be held at the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home,
144 Salem Street, Malden on Monday,
January 28th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at
11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 26 Washington Street, Malden with the
Rev. J.C. Woods Rector of St. Paul's Church officiating.
Cremation will follow at Woodlawn
Crematory in Everett.
