Patroni, Francis J. "Frank"
Francis J. “Frank” Petroni, age 80, of Malden, formerly of Medford, died Wednesday in his home, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Concetta (Gallo) Morretti Petroni & the late Mary (Pestana) Petroni, and the son of the late Vincenzo & Addolarata (Archidiagani) Petroni. Born in Amesbury, he was raised in Medford, and has lived many years in Malden. He was a US Army veteran of World War II. He worked as a Life Insurance representative for Metropolitan Life Insurance for 25 years. He was a member of Valladolid Council # 70 , Knights of Columbus, Lynn and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1910, Malden. Besides his wife Concetta of 23 years, he is survived by a daughter, Linda Davis of Seabrook, NH, a son Vincent Petroni of Canton, a sister Ann Petroni Tortorici of Sanford, FL, 2 brothers, Vincent Petroni of Woburn & Michael Petroni of Medford.; 4 step daughters, Concetta Hayes of Swampscott, Madeline Romano of Swampscott & Catherine Anderson of Rowley & Monica Morretti of Manchester, NH, a step son Nunzio Morretti, 14 grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late Josephine Colford and Lydia Morgan. Funeral from the Weir-McCuish Funeral Home 144 Salem St., Malden on Saturday at 9:00AM, followed by Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Malden at 10:00AM Burial in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester, MA
