Frederick Thomas Person
Jr., 74, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in
Melrose, MA after being stricken with a heart attack at home. Frederick had
lived in Malden, for over
30 years and was previously
from Chelsea. Fred was a retired
fabric layer for Malden Mills, where he worked for many years until the company
moved to Lowell. Prior to working there he worked for five years with the
Converse Rubber Co. in Malden. Fred attended St.
Rose School in Chelsea.
He is survived by Lillian Duffy (sister) of Malden, MA,
Edith Fish (sister) of Malden, Mary Foley (sister) of E. Boston, and Kenneth
Person (brother) of Malden, Gertrude Sinclair (sister) of SC.
He was preceded in death by his father Frederick Person
Sr., his mother Minnie Lambert, his brother Albert Person, his brother
Edward Person, his brother George Person, his brother Herbert Person, and his
brother Warren Person
He was born January 8, 1928 in Chelsea, MA the son of the
late Frederick and Minnie (Lambert) Person
Sr.
Visitation will be held at the Weir- MacCuish Funeral Home
on Sunday, July 7th. from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on
Monday, July 8, 2002 at 9:00
A.M. in the Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main St., Malden. The
Rev. Francis E. Sullivan of
Sacred Hearts Church will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
