Kenneth Thomas Person Sr.

Kenneth Thomas Person,  63, of Malden, died Friday, December 13, 2002 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose.  Ken was born in Cambridge, and raised in Jamaica Plain.  In his early 20's, he moved to the Malden area and took employment with the Friend's Beans Co, in Malden, where he worked for many years.  He had also enlisted with the National Guard, and served with them for eight years. He went on to become a machinist, and worked in many metal shops over the years, until a disabilily forced his early retirement.  He remained very handy, and was adept to working with his hands and was also a skilled mechanic.  He also enjoyed collecting toy and model cars, as well as sports cards.  Mr. Person lived in Malden, Massachusetts for over 40years.

He is survived by his wife Jacqueline M. (Boyer)  of Malden, His daughters, Donna M. Neal of Halifax, Katherine A. Neal  of Malden, & Marie L. Person of Malden, and his sons Kenneth T. Person Jr. of Malden, and  James M. Person of FL, and his sister, Eidth Fish  of Malden, Lillian Duffy  of Malden, Mary Foley  of E. Boston, MA, and Gertrude Sinclair of SC.

He was preceded in death by his father Frederick Person Sr., his mother Minnie (Lambert) Person, his son Joseph  C. Neal , and  his brothers Frederick Person, Albert Person, Edward Person, Herbert Person, Warren Person, and George Person.

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, MA  on Monday from 5 - 9 PM

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at  9:00 A.M. at Sacred Hearts Church., 297 Main Street, Malden.   Fr. Daniel J. Hickey of Sacred Hearts Church will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
