Anne Marie Phillips

Anne M. (Warman) Phillips, 89, died Saturday, February 5, 2005 at the Town & Country Nursing Home in Lowell, MA  Anne was born in  Glasgow, N. S. Canada  and came  to  the US in  1927. She lived in the Saugus area for a few years, moved to Malden, and eventually settled in Wilmington in 1947. In 1966 she started work at the Diamond Crystal Company as a machine operator for twelve years, retiring in 1978.  She returned to Malden and  spent twenty-seven years enjoying her retirement. Her greatest pleasures in life were caring for her children and grandchildren and keeping a neat home. 

She is survived by her children,  Robert E. Phillips of  Marblehead, Patricia A. Hamilton of Pepperell, Judith A. Days and Arlene  F. Rivers both of Dracut and Wendall E. Phillips of FL.  She was the loving sister of James A. Warman and his wife Helen of Melrose and her cherished, six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her father John Warman, and her mother Anne Carter and six siblings

She was born August 29, 1915 in Nova Scotia Canada, the daughter of the late John and Anne (Carter) Warman.

Visitation will be held at the Weir -Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden  on Monday from 4-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anne’s memory may be made to the Activities Department of the Town & Country Nursing Home, 259 Baldwin St., Lowell, MA  01851.

Funeral services will be held on  Tuesday, February 8, 2005  in the Weir Mac Cuish Funeral Home at 11 AM,  with the  Rev. Paul C. Mc Pheeters of  the Forestdale Community Couch  officiating.  Interment in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden at a later date.
