Mary Catherine Pirkey Mary C. (Campanella) Pirkey,
43, a secretary for Mass
General Hospital, where she worked
for over 16 years, died Wednesday,
June 26th in Everett, MA. Mrs.
Pirkey had lived in Revere for the last 12 years and was previously from
Everett. She was born September 24, 1958 in Malden,
the daughter of Henry and Sarah (DeNatile) Campanella. Mary was raised in Everett, graduating from Everett H.S.,
with the class of 1976. She then
spent two years in dental school. Around
1986, Mary accepted a secretarial position at Massachusetts General Hospital,
In 1989 she married her husband Micheal W. Pirkey in her home parish, St.
Anthony's Church in Everett, and
the two shared the next 13 years together. She is survived by her husband Michael W. Pirkey of Revere, her parents Henry & Sarah Campanella (De Natle) of Everett, her brother, Thomas Campanella of Wakefield, her sister Theresa Fiore of Everett, and her brother Anthony Campanella of Virginia. She was the aunt of Nichole, Renee, Gina, John, Carissa, Scott, James, Katy and Nicholas. Visitation will be held at the Weir-MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden,
on Sunday, from 4-8 PM. Contributions in Mary's memory maybe made to the Hallmark Health Hospice 100 Hospital Road, Malden, MA 02148. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony's Church, 38 Oakes St. Everett on Monday, July 1, 2002 at 9:00 A.M. Rev. Camillo Lando C.S. will the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. |
