                                                Mark G. Richard

Mark G. Richard of Haverhill died suddenly while working on his construction job site in Cambridge, early on Monday, Sept. 10th. He was rushed to the Mass General Hospital, in Boston. He was 46 years of age. Born in Everett, he lived in Malden for many years, attending Malden Public Schools. He was a resident of Haverhill since 1989. A construction worker on Boston's 'Big Dig' for the past several years, he had currently been  an employee of Modern Continental Construction Co. He  was also  a member of the Teamsters  Local # 151 in Cambridge for over 18 years and was  well-liked by many of his fellow co-workers.

A devoted and loving husband and father, he leaves his wife Bernadette A. (Pacelli) Richard and son, Joseph T. Richard both of Haverhill. He is survived by sisters, Jean L. Johnson of Sandwich, Debra M. Carr of Winthrop, Marcella A. Walsh of Gloucester, brothers, Daniel M. Richard of Somerville & Sgt./ US Army Gary F. Richard of FL and the late Lorraine (Richard) Keenan. He was the eldest son of the late Jean M. & Lenora M. (Bradley) Richard.  Loving son in-law of Vincent & Ann Pacelli of Cambridge. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, sisters-and - brothers in-laws.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, Sept. 13th. from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Weir-Mac Cuish  Funeral Home, 144 Salem St.. Malden.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main St., Malden  Friday, at 11AM. Interment  in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu in flowers  please make memorial contributions in Mark's memory to the MSPCA, Attn:  Gift Giving, 350 So. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA  02130.
