Edith Louise Moschella

 

Edith Louise Moschella,  88, , died Friday, January 24, 2003 at Dexter  House Nursing Home in Malden. Edith was born in Boston, and grew up in Roxbury and Dorchester.  She worked for many years as a sewbar operator for the Arthur Friedburg Company, and was a member of the Union there.  She was a past member of the Linden Mothers Club, and was a member of St. Josephs Parish in Malden.  Mrs. Moschella lived in Malden, Massachusetts for sixty years and was previously from Dorchester & Roxbury.

She is survived by her daughters Olympia Fitzgerald of Malden and  Edith L. St. Francis  of Norfolk, her sister Stella Moschella  of Walliston, and her grandchildren  Diane Anthony  of Billerica, Gerald Fitzgerald, Jr. of Chelmsford, and   John St. Francis  of Norfolk.

She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel, her parents Antonio and Maria (Maldero) Sisto.

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden,  on Sunday, January 25th from 5 - 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on  Monday, January 27, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church. Father Bill Minigan of St. Joseph will be the celebrant.   Entombment will be in the Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden.
