Arleen Marie Reed Arleen Marie Reed, 48, died Thursday, June 30, 2005 at the Family Health Center in Lowell, MA after a long illness. Born on October 7, 1956 in Stoneham, MA, the daughter of Helen F. (Doherty) and the late Arthur F. Reed, Sr. She attended St. Francis of Assisi Parochial School in Medford and then went on to graduate from Cardinal Cushing High School in Boston with the Class of 1975. Arleen took employment with the Elderhostel Inc. in Boston as an Enrollment Counselor where she worked for twelve years. She is survived by her mother Helen F., her sister Jean and her husband Richard Doty of FL and her brother Arthur F. Reed, Jr. and his wife Karen of Medford. She was the niece of Ann Bishop of Malden and Rosalyn Reed of Chelmsford. She is also survived by four nephews and four nieces and one great-niece and many loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Theresa Parabochi, Nancy Reed, and Donna Reed. Funeral from the Weir ~ MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden on Saturday, July 2nd at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Josephs Church, 770 Salem St. Malden at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Rev. Richard T. Bakker will be celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 1st from 5 to 9 PM.
