Marilyn Etta Regan

 

Marilyn E. Regan, 60, after a long illness died on Wednesday morning, June 8, 2005 at the Mass General Hospital in Boston with her family at her bedside.  Marilyn was born and educated in Malden. After high school she married  Joseph V. Sebeika  in 1962 and the couple moved to Everett,  later settling and raising their family in Malden. Marilyn later went on to beautician school and received her license and worked for the Salon Americana in Malden for ten years and later working with other firms in the area.  Marilyn had been living in Melrose, for the last ten years.

She is survived by her children, Deborah   J. Sebeika of Canterbury, NH, Dennis F. Sebeika of  Melrose, her brother , Jerry   F.  Regan  of Winchester, her sister,  Marion Dooley  of Melrose, her grandchildren  Kerin Sutherland, Andrew McKenney and  Nicholas Belanger also survived by  many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Dennis F.  Regan, her mother Doris L. (Chamberlain) Regan, her husband, Joseph V. Sebeika  Sr., her son , Joseph  V. Sebeika  Jr., her sister, Lenora Richard, and her brother, Joseph  D. Regan.

Visiting hours will be held in the Weir -MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Friday, June 10th.  from   2-4 & 7-9.

Contributions in Marilyn’s memory may be made to Arthritis Foundation Inc., 29 Crafts St., Newton, MA 02458 

Funeral will be held from the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St.,  Malden,  on Saturday,  June 11th. at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main St. , Malden at 10AM.  Fr. Daniel J. Hickey will be the celebrant. Cremation will follow in the Woodlawn Crematory in Everett.
