Kathleen Theresa Rideout
Kathleen T. “Kathy” Rideout, died Thursday morning, November 22, 2007 at the Dexter House Nursing Center, in Malden, she was 60. Born on August 27, 1947, the daughter of the late Frederick & Viola (Santoro) Twist. Kathy was born in Brookline and raised and educated in Cambridge. While growing up in Cambridge, Kathy was a graduate of Rindge & Latin High School in Cambridge. Kathy was a home health aide for many years until her retirement in the early 1990’s because of health reasons. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for her grandson. Ms. Rideout lived in Malden for last ten years and was previously from Cambridge. She is survived by her sons: Kenneth A. Gibbons Jr. of Westborough and David A. Gibbons of Medford, sister of John Twist of Maine and Frederick Twist, Jr. of Fitchburg, and her cherished grandson, David A. Gibbons, Jr. of Medford. At the request of the family, visiting hours have been omitted. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden, followed by a graveside service in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
