Riley, Edward W. Of Malden, formerly of Everett, died at his home on Friday, Jan 27th after a long and courageous illness.  Son of the late Edwared J. and Bertha E. Riley. Devoted  friend and companion of  Antoinette Moschella of Malden. Brother of  Richard and wife Kathleen of Malden, Robert and wife Virginia of NY, Phyllis McNally of Saugus, and the late Sheila White.  Nephew to Brendan and Mary Riley of Malden.  Uncle to Sandra and Cynthia Riley of NY, Jennifer Tortolano of Tewksbury, and lisa McNally of Malden.  Loving grandfather of Stephanie and Brendan O’Neil of Stoneham and Jordan and Joshua Moschella of Burlington.  Beloved Buddy to Anthony Moschella of Fl, Susan O'Neil of Stoneham, and Michael Moschella of Burlington. Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Tuesday Jan 31st, at 8am,  followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Josephs Church, Malden, at 9AM.  Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend.   Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday,  from  4 to 8 PM.  Edward attended the Everett Schools and Salem State College.  He served in the US Air Force from 1956 to 1962.Upon his return, he began a successful career as a self employed business owner in the flooring industry.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Edwards memory to the MGH Cancer Center Research Fund, In Memory of Edward Riley, MGH Development office, 165 Cambridge Street, Suite 600, Boston, MA, 02114 or to HealthCare Dimensions Hospice, 48 Woerd Avenue, Suite 102, Waltham MA.  For Obituary and directions, www.weirfuneralhome.com
