Thomas Joseph Robitaille


Thomas J. Robitaille 57 died
surrounded by family and friends, at home, on Sunday morning, April 1, 2007. He
was born in Cleveland, OH on March 8, 1950 to the late Martial and Nora
(Zivkovic) Robitaille.
He grew up in Cleveland and served
in the Air Force, then spent time in Denver, CO where he married Patricia Belyea
on March 31, 1973. They settled first in the greater Cleveland area and some
years later they settled in Massachusetts where he spent time in Marblehead and
Woburn. He worked in engineering sales for 27 years.
He was a longtime member of the
International Family Church, and enjoyed singing in gospel choirs throughout the
area, including Baystate Gospel Choral Union and also performed with the Boston
Pops as part of the NEC Millennium Choir. He loved Latin music, salsa dancing,
the ocean, and bodybuilding as well as long-distance cycling. He was a
fun-loving father who believed in having a good time, sometimes too much of a
good time.
Tom is survived by his wife of 34
years, Patricia M. (Belyea) Robitaille, and his three children Heather M. Wicken
and her husband Christopher of Reading, Nicole M., and Joseph W. Robitaille both
of Medford. He was the brother of Susan Peffer and her husband Jerry, Alice
Grzincic and her husband John all of Ohio and James Robitaille of
Williamsport, PA. He
was the son-in-law of Patricia Belyea and the late William Belyea. He was
the uncle of six nieces and two nephews who
loved him dearly.
Relatives and friends are welcome to visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8 PM, in
the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, MA

Tom’s
funeral will be held from the International Family Church, 99 Concord St., North
Reading, MA at 10 AM with a service at 11AM. Pastor Jonathan Del Turco of the
International Family Church will be officiating. Burial will follow in Oak
Grove Cemetery in Medford.
