Francesco "Frank" Romeo

     Frank Romeo of Revere, formerly of Everett, died Saturday, July 22, 2006 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, he was 80.  Born on November 9, 1925 in Everett, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Nicoletta (DePiano) Romeo.  Frank was raised and educated in Everett.  After he graduated Everett High School, he went to work for Coke Works Co., working maintenance.  Frank then went on to work for Monsanto Chemical Co. before finally going to work for the Domino Sugar Co. in Charlestown until his retirement in 1988. Mr. Romeo lived in Revere for the past 25 years and was previously from Everett.

     He is survived by his children, Marie Capone of Saugus, and Peter and Paul Romeo, both of Malden, as well as Tracy Anzuoni of Plymouth and Fran Ruggiero of Weymouth, his siblings, Nicoletta Fortunato of Winthrop and Pat Romeo of Everett as well as ten grandchildren.

     Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home 144 Salem St. Malden on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at 8:45AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St. Revere, MA at 10AM.  Fr. Nicholas Sagayadasan of St. Anthony’s Church will be the celebrant.  Burial will immediately follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.    

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday, July 24, 2006 from 4-8 PM.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frank’s memory may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Massachusetts. 1 Bullfinch Place 2nd Floor, Boston MA 02114.
