Theresa I. (Cecere) Rubbico
Theresa Irene
(Cecere) Rubbico, 81, of Tewksbury, and a longtime resident of
Malden, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at Melrose-Wakefield
Hospital in Melrose. Theresa was born in Boston, and then
raised and educated in Everett, MA. She studied sewing as a
vocation, and became a seamstress for the Bay State Uniform
Company as soon as she finished high school. She worked there
for almost 10 years, until she left to dedicate herself to the
raising of her children. She is a past communicant of St. Mary's
of the Assumption in Revere. Theresa maintained a fondness of
sewing and needlepoint work throughout her life. She had
recently moved to Tewksbury, after living in Malden for nearly
50 Years.
She is
survived by her daughters, Joanne Medeiros of FL, and Dianne
Aceto of Tewksbury, her son, William Rubbico Jr. of
Swampscott, her wonderful brother -in-law, John DiBattista of
Revere, as well as five grandchildren.
She was
preceded in death by her husband William Rubbico, her parents,
Raffaele and Serafina Cecere, and her sister Marie G.
DiBattista.
Visitation
will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home on Monday, March
28th, from 5 - 9 PM.

Funeral
services will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, March
29, 2005 at 9:45A.M. for an 11 AM Mass at St. Mary's of the
Assumption, 660 Washington Street, Revere. Rev. William Butler
of St. Mary's of the Assumption will be officiating. Entombment
will follow in the Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden. |
