Mary D. Rusci
Mary D. Rusci, a retired design engineer, died Thurs, May 23rd, in FL. Mary was born and raised in E. Boston. After
completing her education, she joined the civil service. She spent many years in
Hawaii working as design engineer, assisting in the rebuilding of Pearl Harbor
after WWII. Upon returning to the area, she settled in Arlington, and continued
as design engineering for various firms, including Stoneham Webster. She remained
in Arlington until 10 years ago, when she retired to Boca Raton, FL.
She is survived by her brother, Joseph Rusci, of Arlington,
her sister, Vera Salvo of Boca Raton, FL, her nephews, Willliam A. DeSimone of
Stove, and Charles Salvo Jr. of Boca Raton, FL, and her nieces, Sandra Tayor of Boca
Raton, FL , and Geraldine Lynch, of North Andover.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Josephs
Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden on Wed, May 29th, at 11:00 AM. . Visitation will be held at Weir-MacCuish
Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Wed, from 9 - 10:30 AM.
Entombment will take place in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
