Theresa Russell

Theresa  Russell,  63, died Thursday, October 18, 2001 at the Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA.  "Terry" was born in Melrose and educated in the Malden parochial school system graduating from Cheverus Girl's High School. When her family had grown she went to work for the Mutual Bank of Boston as a receptionist for several years. In recent years she has been devoted to her grandchildren and the joy that they have brought to her.  Mrs. Russell was a lifelong resident of Malden

She is survived by her son, Stephen G. Russell and his wife Mary Collins of Medford, her son , Paul E. and his wife Elizabeth Russell of Andover, her son,  Mark W. and his wife Margaret of Melrose,  her son, Scott M. Russell of Malden, her son, Brian T. Russell of Medford, her sisters; Calastine May of Malden,  Sarah Searle Spratt of So. Boston and Claire Brodeur of Tewksbury, and her grandchildren Tyler, William & Meagan Russell.

She was preceded in death by her husband William A. Russell, her sister Mary Cormier, her sister Elizabeth Montecaluo , her sister Jessie Mc Kinnon, her sister Helen Elliott, her brother Timothy Mac Dougall, her sister Margaret Lawson, her brother John Mac Dougall, and her sister Irene Strum.

She was born November 30, 1937 in Melrose, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Smith) Mac Dougall.     

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street Malden, Ma on Monday October 22nd from 5-9 PM

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at  9:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St. Malden with the Rev. John A. Daley, Pastor of St. Joseph's Church officiating.  Burial will be in the Puritan Lawn  Memorial Park in Peabody.
