William Barnes Russell

William Barnes Russell, 64, died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at the New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. William was born and educated in Wakefield and after he completed high school he enlisted in the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam era. When he was discharged he returned to Wakefield and went to work for Wade Industries of Malden as a sheet metal worker. He was employed there for over thirty years until his retirement 1n 1994. After his retirement he continued to work as a machine operator for Wakefield Engineering of Wakefield and Woodworker's Warehouse of Revere.  Mr. Russell lived in Malden, MA for the past thirty -seven years and was previously from Wakefield.

He is survived by his daughters; Kelly Ann Kerr of Lynnfield and Kimberly Marie Russell of Malden, his brothers; Charles Russell of N.H. and  Herbert Russell of Wakefield, and his grandchildren Nicholas, Eric and Julia.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marlene K. (Henderson) Russell.

He was born September 4, 1939 in Wakefield, Massachusetts the son of the late Herbert and Dorothy (Kirker) Russell

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street Malden  on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday March 11, 2004 at 10:30 AM.   Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
