Angelina Sciuto

 

Angelina "Angie" (Barrasso) Sciuto,  93, died suddenly, Tuesday afternoon,  December 2, 2003 at the  Winchester Hospital, Winchester, MA   Mrs. Sciuto was a parishioner of St. Josephs Church in Malden and lived in Malden for the last  fifty-five years. She was a  homemaker that loved cooking and baking. She spent her leisure time knitting and crocheting and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her husband Salvatore Sciuto  of  Malden, her daughter Valerie A. Sciuto of Malden, her son  Joseph  R. Sciuto and his wife Mary Anne of  Billerica, her grandson's  Michael Sciuto of NV, and Christopher Sciuto of Somerville, and her cherished great-grandson  Zachary Sciuto.

Angie was preceded in death by her father, Raffaele Barrasso, her mother Emelia Ficcocello, her brothers, Ernest Barrasso, Ralph Barrasso, Gerald Barrasso, Alfred Barrasso, Jessie Barrasso and  Thomas Barrasso.

She was born June 2, 1910 in Boston, MA the daughter of the late  Raffaele and Emelia (Ficcocello) Barrasso.

Visitation will be held at the Weir -MacCuish Golden Rule  Funeral Home, 144  Salem St., Malden  on Thursday from 4-8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 5th., at 9AM in  St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden,  followed by interment  in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
