Margaret Louise Scribner

Margaret Louise Scribner,  79, a housewife, died Thursday, April 12, 2001 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital  in Medford.  Margaret was born and raised in Malden, attending Malden High School and graduating  with the Class of  1941.   She worked a few years at F. W.Woolworth's,  before marrying her husband Frederick in 1946.  She was an active member of the Forest Dale Community Church,  where   she  taught Sunday School and Bible Study.  She also held weekly Bible Study classes for neighborhood children in her own home.   She was an avid Birdwatcher, and a Life Member of the Audubon Society. 

She is survived by her husband Frederick Scribner Jr of Malden., her son  Frederick Scribner III , and his wife Jean F. of Rowley, her son Lloyd L. Scribner and his wife Peggy C. of Malden, her grandchildren Brian Scribner of Lincoln RI, and Dawn (Scribner) Roberts of Freemont NH.  She is also survived by 3 greatgrandchildren, Kayla and Jacob Roberts, and Lillian Scribner. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at  9:00 A.M. at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home. Rev. Paul C. Mc Pheeters of Forest Dale Community Church will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.

Visitation will be held at the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Monday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM
