Barbara Jane Snook Barbara Jane Snook, 55,
died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Epoch Senior Care Center in
Melrose, Massachusetts. Barbara
was born and raised in Malden, graduating from Malden High School
with the Class of 1967. She
worked as a waitess in Malden and then in Maine when she moved
there in the early 80's. While
in Maine, she opened her own donut shop, BJ's Donuts in Ellsworth,
Maine. She operated
the business for many years until her recent retirement.
Although she kept busy with many things, her greatest joy
was her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving companion Joseph Gauthier,
her son, Scott M.
Snook and his wife
Sue,her sisters, Nancy Sumares and
Beverly Camelio , and her grandchildren, Bayleigh and Skyelar
Snook. She was born August 22, 1949 in Malden, Massachusetts the
daughter of Leonard and Norma (Aldenberg) Snook. A time of visitaton and reflection will be held at the Weir Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Monday, Sept 20th, from 6 – 8 PM Donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to the Hallmark Health Hospice, 100 Hospital Road, Malden, 02148 |
