Paul Gerald Spinazola

Paul Gerald Spinazola, 40, a computer consultant, died Tuesday, November 28, 2000 at the New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts after a brief illness Paul was born in Malden and educated in the grammar schools of Malden. He graduated with the Class of 1978 from Pope John High School in Everett and after graduation he continued his education at North Eastern University in Computer Sciences. He then began his own computer consulting business traveling around the country developing programs for different companies such as Honeywell, Fidelity and Genesis. He was a lifelong resident of Malden and was a member of St. Joseph's Parish of Malden, William Sutton Lodge AF & AM of Saugus and the Saugus Elks Lodge # 2100 of Saugus.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa  (Lepore) Spinazola of Grafton, his son, Christopher G. Spinazola of Grafton, his father, Nicholas C. Spinazola of Malden, his mother, Nancy C. (George) Barbuto of Lynn, his stepfather, Anthony P. Barbuto of Lynn, his stepmother Marylyn A (Sisson) Spinazola of Malden and his sisters Christina Barbuto and Beth Ann Spinasola both of Lynn and several nieces and nephews.

He was born August 22, 1960 in Malden, Massachusetts the son of Nicholas and Nancy (George) Spinazola.      

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Thursday from 4-8 P.M.

Contributions in Paul's name may be made to the New England Medical Center, 750 Washington St., Boston, MA 02111.

Funeral from the Weir - Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Fri. Dec., 1st at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 9:00 AM with the Rev. John A. Daly, Pastor of St. Joseph's Church officiating.  Cremation will follow in Woodlawn Crematory in Everett.
