Florence Goodwin Spinelli

     Florence G. (Kendall) Spinelli died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at her home in Aurora, TX, she was 63.  Born on September 29, 1943 in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Earl J. and Mary Louise (White) Kendall.  Florence was raised and educated in Everett, graduating from Everett High School.   She married her sweetheart, Salvatore B. Spinelli on November 25, 1961 in Malden.  Florence and Salvatore had just celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.  The couple moved to Derry, NH to begin their family, eventually, they moved back down to Malden.  She worked various jobs in her lifetime but her real, fulltime job was taking care of her family.  In 1992, Florence and Salvatore moved down to Texas to retire.  Once in Texas, she worked for CVS Pharmacy as a pharmacy sales clerk.  Florence loved to travel and was an avid Bingo player.  She was always involved with her family; always cheering on her grandchildren’s baseball games and sporting events.  Florence’s true passion was her family.  She was an extremely devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.      

     Florence is survived by her husband, Salvatore B. Spinelli of Aurora, TX, her children, Marc J. Spinelli of Grapevine, TX, Linda J. and her husband, Rich Paytonjian of Aurora, TX, and Salvatore B. Spinelli, Jr. and his wife, Melinda of Aurora, TX, her siblings, Arlene Watton of Everett, Beverly Spinelli of Malden, James Kendall of Brockton, and John Kendall of Enfield, CT, her grandchildren, Robert, Richard, and Danielle Paytonjian and Salvatore B. Spinelli, III, Anthony, and Michel Spinelli,  as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden on Sunday, December 3, 2006 from 4-8 PM.

     A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, December 4, 2006 at 11 AM.  Rev. Ruth R. Oduor, Pastor of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church will be officiating.  Burial will immediately follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
