John George
Spirito
John G. Spirito of Malden died suddenly on January 10, 2007 at
his home, he was 47. Born on December 9, 1959 in Stoneham, he
was the son of Luciana Federiconi of Malden and the late John
Spirito. John grew up in the Edgeworth section of Malden. He
attended Malden High School and was a graduate with the Class of
1978. John married his sweetheart, Judith E. Huggins, on June
19, 1982 in the Maplewood Baptist Church, Malden. John owned
the “Downtown Barbers” barber shop, he worked there as a master
barber. His business, which he operated for over twenty years,
was located on Bromfield Street in Boston. In addition to his
family and business, John enjoyed fishing as well as riding his
bicycle for exercise. John had been a life-long resident of
Malden, living in the Edgeworth, Linden Square, and the
Forestdale sections of Malden.
John is survived by his wife, Judith E. Spirito of Malden, his
mother, Luciana Federiconi of Malden, his siblings, Nicholas
Spirito of Danvers, Bruno Federiconi and his wife, Christine, of
Saugus, and Sonia and her husband, Brian Wylie, of Saugus, and
his mother-in-law, Marion S. Huggins of Malden. John also
leaves two nieces as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to
his father, John was preceded in death by his sister-in-law,
Marilyn Huggins and his father-in-law, Arthur “Bill” Huggins.
A funeral services will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule
Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden, on Saturday, January 13,
2007 at 10 AM. Rev. Paul C. McPheeters, Pastor of the
Forestdale Community Church, will be officiating. Burial will
immediately follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
Visitation
will be held in the funeral home on Friday, January 12, 2007
from 4 to 8 PM.
