Kerri Loreen (Smith)
Stratton
Kerri Loreen Stratton, 34, of
Mesquite, Texas, formerly of Malden, died suddenly on Saturday, May 13, at the
Elliott Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire. She was born November 07, 1971
in Malden, the daughter of Harold and Patricia (Duckworth) Smith. After
completing her education, she earned her Class A Drivers license and began her
career as a truck driver. Kerri wholeheartedly enjoyed driving, and worked for
a few different transportation companies, until she began working for Tango
Transportaton, based in Louisiana. Around 1997 she relocated to Mesquite, TX,
where she met and eventually married her sweetheart, Tommie Steven Stratton.
Her husband and her truck were the two greatest joys in her life.
She is survived by her
husband, Tommie Steven Stratton of Mesquite, TX, her children, Mathew R.
Smith of NH, Johanna K. Maldanado of TX, Antonio A. Maldanado of TX, her
sisters, Colleen M. Smith of Malden, MA, Ketti B. Duckworth of TX, and Loreen
K. Smith of Medford, and her brother, George Smith of Medford
She was preceded in death by
her father Harold Smith, and her mother Patricia (Fahey) Duckworth.
Visitation will be held at
Weir MacCuish Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Services will be
private.
In lieu of flowers, the family
is accepting contributions to offset funeral expense, C/o Colleen Smith, 160
Newland Street, Malden.,
