John Timothy Sundquist John Timothy Sundquist, 46, died suddenly, Thursday, January 16, 2003. John was born in Malden and educated in Melrose schools graduating from Melrose High School with the "Class of 1974". He then attended Unity College in Unity Maine for two years. He returned to Melrose and trained as an automobile mechanic. He had been employed at several automobile repair shops in the greater Melrose area. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Malden. Mr. Sundquist was a lifelong resident of Melrose. He is survived by his parents; John Robert and Elinor I. (Healey) Sundquist of Melrose, his sisters; Maria E. Sundquist of Medford and Margaret L. Lucchesi of Melrose. He was born September 19, 1956 in Malden, Massachusetts the son of John Robert and Elinor (Healey) Sundquist. Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, MA on Monday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM Contributions in John’s memory may be made to the Memorial Fund of the First Lutheran Church of Malden. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Lutheran Church of Malden, 62 Church Street, Malden with the Rev. James W. Knowles, Pastor of the First Lutheran Church of Malden officiating. Burial will be in the Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
