Rosemary Brenda Sutherland

 Rosemary Brenda (Correia)  Sutherland,  67,, died Sunday, January 19, at the Mass General Hospital in Boston.  Rosemary was born and educated in Cambridge,  graduating from Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School with the "Class of 1953".  She was employed as a bookkeeper for the Royal Insurance Company of Boston for over twenty years until her retirement in 2002. She was a resident of Cambridge until settling in Malden over thirty six years ago. She served on the Committee to Save the old Malden High School Seal.  Mrs. Sutherland lived in Malden, Massachusetts for 36 years and was previously from Cambridge.

She is survived by her husband Robert A. Sutherland of Malden, MA, his daughter, Ruth Joanne Goodwin of Malden, his son Robert W. & his wife Heidi  Sutherland of Malden and six grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Correia, and her mother Ruth Griggs.

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM

Contributions in Rosemary's memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc. 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 23, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home. Pastor Jeff Hancock will be officiating.  Cremation will follow in the Woodlawn Crematory in Everett.
