Henry G. Svendbye of Malden,
aged 96, passed away Wedsnesday, Aug. 20th after a short illness in Newton.
He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth (Andersen) Svendbye,
a devoted brother of
the late Alfhild Svendbye and Margit Jenness. Henry
was the father of Henry E., and a very special grandfather to
Mark and Dianne Svendbye, as well as Great-grandfather to Jeffrey and Erik Svendbye and granddaughter Lori. He was also the dearly loved uncle of Ruth and
Roger Jenness.
Funeral services will be held in the Weir-Mac Cuish
Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., MALDEN, on Mon. August 25,
at 10AM. Interment to follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends may call at the
funeral home on Sunday 2-4 only.
Longtime Member of the VFW Post 631, in Malden,
and served in the US Army during WW II.
