Jeanne Agnes Toczydlowski
Jeanne A. (DeAngelis) Toczydlowski,
89, died Sunday, October 20, 2002 at the Emerald Court
Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
in Norwood, MA. Jeanne was born in
Italy and moved to the United States at an early age.
She grew up in Springfield MA, and attended school there until moving to Millis. While in Millis, she worked at the Herman Shoe Co, as a dry
stitch vamper. She married her
husband Anthony in 1946 and they
soon moved to Malden. She worked for the Eagle Shoe Co. in Everett for twenty
years, performing similar duties. In
1979 she and Anthony moved to Holliston, where they
lived until his passing in 1992. The
two had shared 46 years together. In 1992 Jeanne moved back to Malden and was a communicate
of St. Josephs Church and
helped care for
her grandchildren, Kirk and
Curt.
She is survived by her son John A. Toczydlowski and his wife Bozena
of Malden. She was the sister of
Charles DeAngelis
of Millis, Anthony DeAngelis of FL
and Mary Guritan. Loving
grandmother of Kirk J. & Curt
A. Toczydlowski of Malden.
She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony J.
Toczydlowski, her father Joseph DeAngelis, and her mother Angelina.
She was born August 25, 1913 in Italy,
the daughter of late Joseph and Angelina (DiMarino) DeAngelis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in
St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden, on Tuesday, at 10AM. Pastor
William J. Minigan of St. Josephs Church will
be the celebrant. Burial will be in
the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Millis, MA.
