Zetta Marie Waite Zetta Marie Waite, 84, a retired retail sales associate for Sparks & Jordan Marsh, where she worked for years, died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at the Melrose Wakefield Hospita., in Melrose.. Zetta was born in Dorchester, MA, in 1921. She married her husband Harley W. Waite in 1937, and the two would share over 60 years together raising their family. They moved to Malden in 1949, and spent 30 years living there. During that time, Zetta worked at various stores as a store clerk, including Sparks and Jordan Marsh in Malden Square. Zetta and Harley moved to Saugus in 1979. Zetta was a longtime active member of the Calvary Assembly of God in Lynnfield, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great & great -great grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Harley W. Waite Jr. of Wenham, MA, Robert A. Waite of FL, Carl A. Waite of Malden, her daughter, Janet M. Twombley of NH, her brothers, Charles Gilman of NJ, George Gilman of FL, her sisters, Edith Corter of NJ, and Nellie Blocker of Fl., 13 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harly W Waite, her parents, Charles and Edith (Holmes) Gilman, her brothers Roy Gilman, Warren Gilman, Robert Gilman, Frank Gilman, and Charles Gilman, and her sisters Ruth Sorenson, Dorothy Dent, and Muriel Blankenship. Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Wednesday from 5 - 9 PM Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 9:00 P.M. at Weir - Mac Cuish Funeral Home. Pastor Richard Cortese will be officiating. Burial will be in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody on Friday, Feb 24th, at 11 AM.
