Helen M. Wedge
Helen M. Wedge, 86, widow of the
late Albert F. Wedge, died Saturday, 24 February 2007, at
Lorien Nursing Home, Columbia, Maryland. Formerly of 54
Echo Street (Forestdale) and 557 Pleasant Street, Malden,
her family and friends were very dear to her. As a young
lady she loved sports and dancing with her friends. She
was a person everyone depended on for help and support in
time of need; always there to give a ride and or a helping
hand, her generosity was greatly appreciated by all. While
living in Malden she was a member of the Forestdale
Community Church and the Willing Helpers. In later years
she and her husband traveled the world, enjoying extended
visits with her daughter and family at their homes in
England, Italy and Hawaii.
Mrs. Wedge was predeceased by her
husband, Albert F. Wedge, her
son, Albert F. Wedge Jr, (Buzz), of Vermont and a sister
Shirley E. Rowe of Bradenton, FL. She leaves behind her
daughter, Dale E. Crotty (Barry) of Bradenton, FL and Myrtle
Beach, SC; a brother, Robert F. Walsh of Kittery, Maine;
daughter in law, Debbie Wedge of North Carolina; 11
grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Helen will be
held on Friday, March 2nd, at the Weir MacCuish Golden Rule
Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden at 10 AM, with
interment to follow in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 2- 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
