Rose Ann Wilson-Bourque

     Rose A. (Costello) Wilson-Bourque of Malden died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, she was 65.  Born on January 5, 1942 in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late John and Marjorie (Battelli) Costello.   Rose was raised and educated in Cambridge.  After completing high school, she attended and graduated from the Eastern Nazerene College of Quincy.  After college, Rose went to work for General Motors in the GMAC division.  After 37 years of service with GM, Rose retired as the supervisor of the automotive accounts.  After her retirement, Rose went to work for the Beth Israel hospital as an administrative assistant.  She worked for a couple of years before deciding to commit her time to volunteer at the Bread of Life in Malden.  She was a committed member and was just recently appointed President of the Board of Directors for the organization.  Rose also volunteered her time serving as a Eucharistic Minister for Sacred Hearts Church at the Dexter House Nursing Home.  In June of 2006, Rose married her long-time friend and sweetheart, Raymond H. Bourque.  Rose was a resident of Malden for the past 28 years.

     Rose is survived by her husband, Raymond H. Bourque, her sons, Matthew Bourque of Andover and William Bourque of Malden, as well as her sister Maria R. Ruggiero of KS.

In addition to her parents and two brothers, Rose was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence E. Wilson.

     Funeral from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden at 10 AM.  Fr. Daniel J. Hickey, Pastor of Sacred Hearts Church will be the celebrant.  Burial will immediately follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Friday, March 23, 2007 from 4 to 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rose’s memory may be made to the Bread of Life, 511 Main Street, Malden, MA 02148.
