Evelyn Mae Yetman
Evelyn M. (Worth)
Yetman, died Thursday morning, February 9, 2006 at the Masconomet Health Care
Center in Topsfield, MA , she was 93. Born in Quincy, MA on November 7, 1912;
she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Shurtleff) Worth. She was
raised and educated in Braintree. Evelyn later married her sweetheart Stanley
G. Yetman and would settle in Malden and raise their three children. The couple
resided in Malden for over fifty-five years, and were married for sixty-one
years, until Stanley’s passing in November of 1998.
Evelyn was a
member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Malden over sixty years and a Sunday
school teacher for thirty-five years. After the passing of her husband Stanley,
Evelyn moved north to be closer to her son.
Mrs. Yetman is
survived by her sons David S. Yetman of Boothbay, ME and Paul W. Yetman of
Nashua, NH, her daughter Beverly M. Kimball of Sarasota, FL. She was the
cherished grandmother of six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and the
loving sister of Walter V. Worth and his wife Louise of Wollaston.
She was preceded in death by
her husband Stanley, her father John Worth, and her mother Bertha Shurtleff and
four siblings.
Visiting hours
have been omitted. In lieu of flowers contributions in Evelyn’s memory maybe
made to the Sunshine Fund, C/O the Masconomet Healthcare Center, 123 High St.,
Topsfield, MA 01983.
Funeral services
will be held in the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St.,
Malden on Monday, February 13, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. The Rev. Rod Rivera, Pastor of
the First Church of the Nazarene, Malden will be officiating. Burial will be in
the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
