Emmanuel Jean Yoyo
Emmanuel Jean Yoyo, 79,
died Saturday, December 13, 2003 at Mass General Hospital in Boston.
Emmanuel was born and raised in Haiti, completing his education there.
He served a career in the military, and after retiring from the service,
he came to the US in 1969. He
settled in Brooklyn NY. He
lived in NY until moving to the Boston area around 1987.
First living in Chelsea, he moved to Malden in 1995, and has lived there
since. After moving to the states,
he worked for many years in the
hotel industry, and also as an insurance salesman.
He is survived by his wife Sorvena
of Malden, MA, his children Serge Yoyo
of Chelsea, Jeanfritz Yoyo of
Chelsea, Guerda Philippe of Malden,
Edwins Yoyo of Chelsea, Cornaz Yoyo of Brooklyn, NY, Soeurette Yoyo
of Littleton, Carine Jean-Baptiste of Randolph, Donald Yoyo of Everett,
Patrick Yoyo of Hobokin, and his
sister, Christiane Joseph of PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noelfils and
Morina (Antoine) Yoyo, and his son Lionel Yoyo.
He was born December 25, 1923 in , Haiti, the son of
Noelfils and Morina (Antoine) Yoyo.
Visitation will be held at the Weir MacCuish Golden Rule
Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, Malden, on Friday, Dec 19th from 6 - 8
PM
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2003
at 10:00 A.M. at The First Nazarene Church of Malden, 529
Eastern Ave. Burial
will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
