Mary Ellen Zinchuk Mary Ellen Zinchuk, 77, died Thursday, July 26th 2001 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Stoneham, MA. Mary was born in Boston and educated in Chelsea schools and after her marriage moved to Malden where she resided for eighteen years moving to Melrose in 1957 where she resided until moving to Saugus in 1968. Mrs. Zinchuk had lived in Saugus, MA. for the past 32 years. She is survived by her son, James Zinchuk of Stoneham, her daughter, Mary E. Morrison of Peabody, her sisters; Grace Cayon of Carver, and Dorothy Lewis of Malden and her cousin, Lorraine Bird of Chelsea and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Zinchuk and her brother John A. Mc Hatton. of Chelsea. She was born June 27, 1924 in Boston, Massachusetts the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Williams) Mc Hatton. Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM Contribution in Mary’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Speen St. Framingham , MA 01701 Funeral from the Weir Funeral Home on Mon July 30th at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 297 Main St. Malden at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Daniel J. Hickey, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
