Marjorie L. Braese

 

Marjorie L. Braese, 69, a  longtime resident of Ipswich, passed away  Monday, March 8, 2010 at Beverly Hospital.  Marjorie was born and raised in Malden.  At the age of fifteen, she met her sweetheart, Ronald J. Braese, although they didn’t start dating right away.  In 1961, after years of courtship, Marjorie and Ronnie were married in St. Theresa's Church in Everett.  They lived for a few years in Everett before settling down in Ipswich, MA, where they raised their family. 

Marjorie enjoyed crafts, and liked to travel.  She enjoyed tending to the flowers and garden, almost as much as she enjoyed taking care of her family.

She is survived by her husband Ronald J. Braese, her daughters, Susan Marjorie Braese  of Ipswich, and  Dianne Marjorie Sweet  of Amesbury, MA, her son, Ronald J. Braese II of Middleton, her grandchildren,  Austin, Brandy Lee, and  Casey and her brothers,  Carl F. Greenberg of Byfield, Chester A. Greenberg  of Malden, and Ralph A. Greenberg  of Ipswich,.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  Elmer  and Josephine (Williamson)

Visitation will be at the Weir - Mac Cuish  Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden,  on Wednesday, March 10th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM  

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Thursday, March 11th , 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at  Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
