Beryl E. Butt
Beryl E. Butt, a resident of Peabody who had spent over 70 years living in Everett, passed away on July 30th, at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody, she was 83. Beryl was born in August of 1927, the daughter of John W. and Valetta A. (Hudson) Butt. Around the age of 5, her family moved from Chelsea to Everett. She graduated from Everett High with the Class of 1945. Following her graduation from high school, she attended Burdett College. She then took employment as a secretary for the Deloitte Accounting Firm in Boston. She worked for the CPA firm until her retirement. Beryl is survived by her sister, Margaret R. Andress of Danvers, her best friend, Bernice Hudson of Chelsea, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements will be private.
