Clermicie
Constantin, of Malden, formely of Cambridge and Haiti, passed
away Saturday, March 20, with her loving family by her side, at
the age of 83. She was born in Duvelierville, the daughter of
Antione and Elvira Constantin . Clermicie was raised in Haiti
and was educated in the local schools there. In 1975, she came
to the United States and settled in Cambrige. Clermicie worked
as a seamstress for many years at the Malieo Factory Outlets,
and retired in 1982. She enjoyed dancing and music. Clermicie
was a very caring mother and grandmother, who helped a great
deal with the raising of all twenty grandchildren. She was
always known for being very hard working and very giving.
She is
survived by her children, Marie LeFort of Medford, MA, Joseph
Constantin of Dominican Republic, Gabrielle Pierrette of
Malden, Yves Regis of ST, and Margarite Regis of Cambridge,
her sister, Stella Constantin of Haiti, as well as twenty
grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was
preceded in death by parents, Antione and Elvira Constantin, her
daughter Gisele Roucou; and her son, Albert Oliver
Visitation
will be at Weir - Mac Cuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street,
Malden on Friday, Mar 26th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
A Mass of
Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 27th,
2010 at St. John the Evangelist, 2270 Mass Ave, Cambridge, at
9AM. Burial will follow in the Cambridge Cemetery..
