Philip Joseph DiPietro

Philip Joseph DiPietro, of Malden,  died Saturday, March 07, 2009 in  his home at the age of 50.    Philip was born and Everett, and while growing up had lived in Everett, Revere and Malden.  He attended St. Colletta's School, now know as Cardinal Cushing Academy. For many years Philip had lived in Everett, and a few years ago had settled down in Malden. 

Philip was an avid baseball card collector.  Over the year he had accumulated many boxes, carefully assorted and categorized.  He was also enjoyed bowling and had participated in several local bowling leagues over the years.  He regularly enjoyed taking the subway into Boston to go out to dinner and share time with his friends.

He is survived by his brother,  James R. DiPietro Jr. of Haverhill, his sister,  Christine Greeley  of Malden, and his nephews,  Patrick, Daniel & James .He was preceded in death by his parents,  James R Sr.  and Rose M. (Colgiano) DiPietro.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, 302 Elm Street, Everett, MA.  Rev. William J. Minigan, Pastor of St. Joseph's Church will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
