John J. Jones John J. Jones, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away suddenly on Wed, September 28th at his home. John was born in Colorado Springs, CO, in 1953, the son of George and Concetta (Serino) Jones. With his father in the Air Force, John moved around while growing up, and had lived in Japan as well as South Carolina. In 1977, John moved to Malden, MA where he remained. John had been working for the Spire Corp, where he was a Solar Technician involved in the production of Solar Panels. John enjoyed making and flying model airplanes in years past. He also treasured the time he spent riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his children, Justin Jones of Reading and Kimberly Jones of Haverhill, his former wife Eleanor D. (Norris) Jones, his siblings, Chris Jones, Michele Jones, and Michael Jones, all of NC, and his grandson, Timothy J. Jones. John was preceded in death by his parents, George and Concetta Jones, and his sister, Linda Jones. Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct 3rd, at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, from 4-8 PM, with a prayer service at 7PM. All other services will be private. |
