Gerard
Francisco Jose

Gerard F. Jose of Malden, formerly of Everett, died Wednesday,
June 24, 2009 at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston, he was 60.
Born on February 11, 1949 in Castillejos, Zambales, Philippines,
he was the son of Elena (Realin) Jose and the late Dionicio S.
Jose. Gerard was raised and educated in his native
Philippines. After high school, Gerard attended Manuel L.
Quezon University, studying Chemical Engineering. In 1980,
Gerard moved to the United States. Eventually settling in
Everett, he worked as a Computer Numerically Controlled
machinist for the Aerotek company, located in Woburn. Gerard
was a past member of the Filipino nonprofit corporation known as
“Kasama”.
Gerard is survived by his wife, Teresita Jose of Everett, his
daughter, Michelle A. Jose of Everett, his siblings, his mother,
Elena Jose of Everett, Jaime Jose of Haverhill, Pepito Jose of
Malden, Yolanda Cruz of Everett, Luzviminda Ladringan of Texas,
Violeta Curran of Revere, Dionicio Jose of Everett, Rodrigo and
Fernando Jose, both of Chelsea, and Marilyn Almendras of
Everett.
A funeral will be held in the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral
Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 10
AM. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
Visitation
will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 29, 2009 from 5
to 9 PM.
