Marjorie Eleanor Kosak

 

     Marjorie E. (Carter) Kosak, died Friday afternoon October 23, 2009 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH, she was 87. Marjorie was the daughter of the late William & Marion (Little) Carter.  She was educated in the Boston School system and lived many years in Boston.

     Marjorie married the love of her life William J. Kosak; the couple settled in Malden and raised their two sons and one daughter.  Marjorie & Bill shared sixty years together  until Bill’s passing in June of 1999. Mrs. Kosak's  whole married life was loving & taking care of her husband and her children.   After Bill’s death Marjorie moved to Bennington, Vermont and lived with her sister Dorothea for the next nine years. While in Bennington she attended the Hillside Church in town and met many good friends.  Over the last year she has lived with her son and his family in Danville, NH.  She had many friends but enjoyed spending time with her family. The love of her life was doing for her family and then came, her cooking & baking.

     She is survived by her son, Richard S.  Kosak and his wife Deborah of Danville,  NH, her daughter Marsha  A. Kosak of Londonderry,  NH, her son,  William  J. Kosak and his wife Kathy of Brooksville, Florida, her loving sister Dorothea Maroney of Bennington, VT. Marjorie was the cherished grandmother of Kimberli Kosak, Victoria Kosak and  William Kosak III all of Florida, Richard Kosak, Kristen Kosak Matthew Kosak all of Massachusetts and her nine great-grandchildren.  Her nephew  Kent & his wife Pat Wright  of Bridport,  VT,  Beverly  Leake of Bennington, VT, her nephew Bruce Evens  and his wife  Pat  of Vermont, Monica Evans of Michigan, Jamie Evans of Washington, Joyce Bivens of Missouri, Richard Evans of Texas.

Visitation will be held in the Weir-Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144   Salem St.,  Malden on Wednesday October 28, 2009 from 4-8   PM. 

     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009   at 11:00 A.M. in the Weir Funeral Home.  Pastor Gary L. Mc Clenthen of Maplewood Baptist Church will be officiating.  Interment will be in White Chapel Cemetery, Bennington, VT at a later date.
